About Nick: Documentary Photographer

I am a Baltimore-based, documentary-style photographer serving Maryland and Washington D.C.

Growing up with Spanish as my first language, I spent my early school years observing rather than speaking. I learned to anticipate how moments develop and relationships grow without needing words. My English improved, but that candid, fly-on-the-wall perspective remains the foundation of my work.


I am a former journalist and a Pulitzer Prize winner for local reporting.
